Should you manually pin on Pinterest or use a scheduler? You can manually pin to Pinterest and post to Instagram. But do you really want too? Is this the best way to spend your time? Are you likely to be online at the right time? You might be in the middle of working on something else. You need to have a life and sleep! For my other blog, ownmuse.com 80-90% of the audience is awake when I am sleeping, my main audience is on the other side of the globe. Pinterest brings in 85% of my traffic. If you are going to make all this effort with your blog – it’s time to acknowledge a little help from Tailwind could make a huge difference.

6 Powerful tools Tailwind will offer you

1. Pin and post at the best time for your audience

Take the guesswork out of when to pin and post. Tailwind takes all the hard work out of scheduling. It’s so easy to use and incredibly satisfying. Using Tailwind was one of the first services or products I used for blogging and I still use it. Tailwind has what is called a ‘Smart scheduler’, their state of the art scheduling program determines the best time day and night for your pins and posts to go out. Your pins and posts are loaded into your schedule and added to a queue ready and waiting to go out. See below are some pins the time slots have been created by Tailwind. You can schedule as many as you want. I recommend starting with 4-5 a day and see how you go. It’s so easy to do more when you feel ready.

2. Tailwind is quick and easy

I seem to always be in a rush – time is one of the most valuable commodities in my life. I feel if I have time I can achieve at breakneck pace what I have set for the day. Give me time and I put my mind in motion and go-go-go. The counter effect happens when tasks take me more time than I feel like they should, or more time than I have. Frustration sets in, a feeling of losing control and my body tightens and nothing seems to work. Tailwind gives me time – in a busy high-pressure world, what an amazing asset to have on board.

It takes me about 20 minutes every 2 weeks to set all my pins and posts – done. Tailwind pins and posts to Pinterest and Instagram while I use my time for other things. Need I say more? Tailwind is such a huge relief. I can be folding washing, cooking, sleeping – maybe even socialising (shock horror) I feel a deep satisfaction knowing that my social accounts are looked after.

Here below is me loading up some pins for ownmuse.com my style blog! You click the create pin and load them in. A feature that I really love is the ‘Your Group Lists’ below. The ‘Your Group Lists’ function allows you to have a set of predetermined boards to pin too – a big time saver. Can include group and personal boards you choose. So when you upload a pin see below – each board gets its own time slot. Once you are in the schedule you can easily shuffle your pins.

3. Tailwind is convenience

Should you manually pin on Pinterest or use a scheduler? You can manually pin to Pinterest and post to Instagram. But do you really want too? Is this the best way to spend your time? Are you likely to be online at the right time? You might be in the middle of working on something else. You need to have a life and sleep. at the time when your audience are on their phones? I do still manually pin to Pinterest and post to Instagram as well. Why both? I love that time of day I set aside to re-pin content on Pinterest and like and comment on Instagram. For me it’s easiest to manually re-pin pins on Pinterest, I have a time of day I set aside for manual pinning. For me, I find re-pinning, commenting and liking manually works well for me. I add in my own descriptions for re-pin pins – its cohesive, organic and best of all fun, not a chore. I have a pre-analysed Pinterest keyword list that I also include. Though when it comes to my pins, I use Tailwind I want my target audience to see them at the best time for them – not me. Like I mentioned that’s often when I am, asleep as most of my audience is online at a different time to me.

4. Built to help your algorithms

Algorithms are calculations and sequences that control the amount – big or small to which your social media account/s are viewed. You want the algorithm to work for you not against. Both Pinterest and Instagram’s algorithms are constantly changing – feel confident that Tailwind is approved by Pinterest and Instagram. Meaning that Pinterest and Instagram want Tailwind to work for you, they want your good content at a good time for your market. All elements cohesively combined are necessary to continue to run these powerful engines – Pinterest as a search engine and Instagram a social media engine. Tailwind is on top of the changing algorithms, trends, seasons changes, market, niches, audiences and they have your best interests in mind. Let them do what they do best and you do what you do best.

5. Officially Pinterest and Instagram approved

Pinterest and Instagram are complex ships to navigate. Leave the scheduling and working out the best time to post and pin to the experts. Un-approved competitors have since closed their businesses. You want to have the approved scheduler working for you. To be a successful blogger you NEED to be optimizing both Pinterest and Instagram!

6. Tailwind Tribes

It’s like an extra bonus thrown in that you can’t believe it included. Tailwind Tribes is a pool of like-minded blogging friends all wanting to help you succeed. It’s like Pinterest group boards without all the back and forward trying to join. When you load a pin to the scheduler it’s just an extra tick box making it as little effort as possible gaining your pin more reach and contact with your audience.
